Privacy Policy — Ayna AI

Last updated: 2026-07-21

Ayna AI ("we", "the app") lets you preview appearance changes — clothing, hairstyles, beards, makeup, and tattoos — by combining a photo of yourself with a reference image. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Summary

What we collect and why

1. Photos you provide

Your photo and the reference image(s) you choose, to produce the try-on. They are uploaded to secure Google Firebase Storage scoped to your account and sent to Google Vertex AI to generate the result. Uploads and results are stored under your account so your gallery/history work; you can request deletion.

2. Account identifier

An anonymous user ID created on first launch. If you use Sign in with Google, we also receive your Google account's basic identity so your credits/history carry over.

3. Credits and transactions

Your credit balance and a ledger of grants/uses. Managed on our server so it can't be tampered with.

4. Crash reports

Crash/error reports via Firebase Crashlytics — including a device/app identifier, diagnostics, and a short trail of in-app actions that preceded the error, not your photos.

We do not sell personal data. We disclose data only as required by law.

Data security

Photos and results are stored in access-controlled storage scoped to your account (enforced by security rules); other users cannot read your files. Sensitive operations (credits, AI keys) run only on our server; the app never holds provider secrets. Traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.

Children

Ayna AI is not directed to children under 13 (or your region's age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
